What you’ll do as Vice President of Planned Giving:

● Lead the strategic direction, growth, and operations of the Planned Giving Program, expanding legacy gift commitments to support the long-term growth of Heifer Foundation’s $200M endowment
● Manage, coach and support a current team of 6 people
● Directly steward a select portfolio of key prospects and legacy donors
● Strategically align the Planned Giving team and Heifer International’s fundraising teams – includes donor lifecycle stewardship, communication, and coordination

Location: Remote, Anywhere in the US
Reporting To: CEO & President

Compensation:
$135,000 to $167,000, plus benefits
Start Date: October 2025

We have exciting news to share! We’ve launched our search for the Executive Assistant and Operations Specialist.

Reporting to the VP of Operations, the Executive Assistant and Operations Specialist provides executive and administrative support across all functions of the Heifer Foundation, including operations, planned giving, and finance.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Executive & Leadership Support – 15%

●Partner closely with the President & CEO to ensure seamless scheduling, communication, and travel coordination.
Assist with preparation of polished materials for board meetings, donor events, and cross-functional leadership engagement. Proactively manage priorities and ensure timely follow-up.

Operational & Administrative Support – 15%

● Support internal operations, including HR administration, office management, and branded documentation.
● Coordinate logistics for staff retreats, board meetings, and internal events.
● Maintain systems for organizational templates, documentation, and compliance.

Finance & Planned Giving Administrative Support – 60%

● Ensure accurate and timely processing of annuities, trusts, and related financial documents.
● Support the Finance and Planned Giving teams in mailing tax forms, managing CRM records, and issuing donor acknowledgments. Maintain document integrity and support donor intent through accurate tracking.

KEY DETAILS

● Location: Little Rock, AR (Hybrid – in-office 3 days/week)
● Salary Range: $72,000 – $78,000 annually
● Reports to: Vice President of Operations
● Status: Full-Time, Exempt

● Paid Time Off: 22 vacation days, 13 sick days, 4 personal days, 9 holidays
● Other: This role is eligible for hybrid work (Little Rock office at least 3 days/week)
